Hi , I am new to this so pardon any silly questions. I would like to make a meal replacement in the mornings for 2, myself and husband. If I use a protein powder do I need 2 scoops or one and…. with all the ingredients how much does one consume to meet a meal replacement requirement?
How long can you keep it in the refridgerator ?
Your questions are not silly. Serving size of protein powders may vary by brand, though typically one scoop is one serving. For this recipe, one meal replacement is about half of the recipe or about 22 fl oz with 2 scoops of protein added to the recipe.
How in the world does this smoothie turn out green for people? Mine turned out kind of brown…seems like there is too much red from the raspberries and strawberries to turn out as green as in the picture?
Hi Mike, we just tried this and it is absolutely not green at all. Followed the recipe exactly…turned out brown. Tastes great though.
Only way I see to have a green smoothie is to leave out the raspberries and strawberries. I’ve made green smoothies with banana, kale, celery and apple.
