Your blender is the one i have. There is nothing wrong with your model. HOWEVER, I just got the twister jar that is made specifically for these types of recipes and it makes all the difference in the world. Look at the demonstrations on the Blendtec site or Youtube and you will see why.

My daughter saw this recipe on youtube and I just happened to have a bag of frozen bananas in the freezer so we gave it a try in my Wildside jar. Had to scape it down a bit but it worked great for us and YUM!!!

Hi. I just bought the blendtec and i too saw the ice cream recipe. Use the Popeye’s Ice Cream and add your own variation. this is what the demonstrator informed me to do. Hope this helped!

unless my blendtec is a lemon, this will NOT work with hard-frozen bananas. i have to let them soften before it will even think about creaming them, and even then i usually have to add some sort of liquid. it’s terrific, but VERY soft.

This recipe caused my Blendtec to OVER-HEAT!!!!!!!

I’ve tried it again after THAWING the bananas for 10 minutes & it works; but needs a thickening agent of some kind (to make it more like ice-cream texture).
