Great! Thanks! More vegetable recipes please.
I tried this tonight. It’s creamy and light. I had no agave so I used honey and found it a little sweet. I would like to add a 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper to it. Nice refreshing change for a salad dressing.
Substitute avocado for olive oil and eliminate the stomach irritant, black pepper, Add some garlic salt and dill weed.
If you have the Designer or Signature Series blender, the "Dressings" button is the whisk icon.
Dont see the dressings button, help!
Great tweaks to a great recipe – thanks!
What’s a substitute for tahini? It’s not easily available in Mumbai
Is that the one that says Batters? Thanks for help!
Do you have sesame seeds there? You can make your own by blending them into a paste. This works best in the Twister jar. Others have used peanut butter or hemp seed as a substitute for tahini.
Yes, on the Total Blender it says Batters.
Looks very nice. Plan to try it today! I will use stevia instead of agave, as agave is too high in fructose.
nothing is wrong with agave. some people speak personal opinion as if it is fact. :)
What’s wrong with agave?
I take it this recipe is calling for fresh herbs
What is tahini, where is it found in store
Yes, it would be best with fresh herbs. Happy blending!
Make sure to peel the cucumber, no GMO corn wax to change your bowel flora into a pesticide factory that way. It is better to use organic cane sugar than agave, but any of your favorite healthy sugar or sugar substitute like organic stevia would do fine.
Tahini is a paste made from ground sesame seeds. If you can’t find it in a store near you, you can make it yourself by roasting 2 1/2 cups of sesame seeds and blending them with 3/4 cup olive oil. This post gives great information on where to look for it in the store: http://gourmet.lovetoknow.c…
