Can this smoothie be made the night before, I am usually up early. I have Mason jars to store if that makes a difference. Thanks

Yes, the smoothies are good for up to 24 hours, however, they won’t taste as fresh.

Just bought my blendtec and can’t wait to try this drink for my 5 yr. old. Did you add any water or ice?

I just tried that and it still didn’t break down the seeds :(

My long time nursing friend started me on green smoothies for breakfast. I noticed Jamba Juice has one with fresh ginger so decided to add fresh grated ginger (approx. 1 tsp.) to a blender full of green smoothies. It is awesome! A whole new flavor profile is introduced when this is added. I also substitute 1 C. of OJ for 1 C. of water & add 1/2 banana for sweetness; frozen peaches & frozen mango (1/2 C. each). Fresh pineapple is great as an addition too.
