  • Need to show more recipes using your commercial line of blenders. A commercial blender for home use is overkill perhaps but at the price I paid, you would have bought it too! An amazing piece of equipment….

  • It was great… I just don’t have a twister jar

  • Just received the twister jar and made a batch of peanut butter. Perfection. I used two cups of dry roasted unsalted peanuts, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp brown sugar, ran blender at speed 6 for approximately 30 seconds. Wow!

  • I just made pumpkin seed butter in my Twister jar and it came out great. I used a little pumpkin seed oil before adding my roasted seeds. Only took a minute to do.

  • I have had my blender for two years now and have made hummus and peanut butter in the standard four-sided jar. I got the Twister Jar recently out of curiosity. The twister lid made things easier because it eliminated air pockets. In fact, Blendtec should make the twister lid for the four-sided jar as it eliminates the tamper that another blender used (hint hint). Anyway, I dumped two cups of nuts into the Twister jar and used the twister lid as directed and awesome peanut butter was produced. Super impressed and very happy. The spatula got all the delicious peanut butter out of the twister jar.

  • Can I make peanut butter in the regular wild side jar? I don’t have the twister jar yet.

  • I just made this. No problems at all with the recipe. Fresh peanut butter is SO good. I didn’t know. Thanks!

  • Yes, you can. Use these instructions:

3½ cups roasted and unsalted peanuts
½ tsp kosher or sea salt
    2 tbsp peanut oil

    1. Add peanuts and salt to WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds then increase speed to a High speed for 10 seconds.
    2. Using a spatula, move peanuts towards center of jar, add oil and secure lid.
    3. Blend on a Medium-High speed for 50 seconds or until desired texture is reached.

  • Oolua- 2015 I just made almond butter with my twister. I purchased blendtec a month ago and recently ordered twister. It is fantastic. It is healthy way without processed stuff to it.

    Roda Grey on

  • No, it doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Just store it in an air-tight container (such as a jar or tupperware).

    Blendtec on

  • Is there a special way to store the peanut butter? Does it need to be refrigerated?

  • To make a nut butter in your FourSide jar, add nuts and salt to jar and secure lid. Blend on Low speed for 15 seconds, then increase speed to High and blend until 50 seconds. Using a spatula or Spoonula, move nuts towards center of jar, add oil and secure lid. Blend on medium to medium-low speed for 50 seconds, then blend on medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds.

  • When making coconut butter, what kind of oil should I use and how much? I don’t think coconut butter is like other nut butters, is it?

  • You shouldn’t need to add oil for coconut butter. Even my Breville Hemishphere can handle coconut butter with eas. Just dump in unsweetened shredded coconut and blend until smooth.

    PghPammy on

  • We don’t have a coconut butter recipe – anyone out there have one they can share with Nancy?

  • Can I make coconut cream from unsweetened dried coconut flakes, sometimes called manna in a Blendtec?

    jlo on

  • Just add shredded unsweetened coconut to blender and blend until smooth. No oil needed. I accidentally made once on Breville (much less powerful blender) trying to see if I could make coconut flour. I got butter pretty fast!!
