I have had my blender for two years now and have made hummus and peanut butter in the standard four-sided jar. I got the Twister Jar recently out of curiosity. The twister lid made things easier because it eliminated air pockets. In fact, Blendtec should make the twister lid for the four-sided jar as it eliminates the tamper that another blender used (hint hint). Anyway, I dumped two cups of nuts into the Twister jar and used the twister lid as directed and awesome peanut butter was produced. Super impressed and very happy. The spatula got all the delicious peanut butter out of the twister jar.

I just made this. No problems at all with the recipe. Fresh peanut butter is SO good. I didn’t know. Thanks!

Can I make peanut butter in the regular wild side jar? I don’t have the twister jar yet.

Oolua- 2015 I just made almond butter with my twister. I purchased blendtec a month ago and recently ordered twister. It is fantastic. It is healthy way without processed stuff to it.

Yes, you can. Use these instructions:

3½ cups roasted and unsalted peanuts
½ tsp kosher or sea salt
    2 tbsp peanut oil

    1. Add peanuts and salt to WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds then increase speed to a High speed for 10 seconds.
    2. Using a spatula, move peanuts towards center of jar, add oil and secure lid.
    3. Blend on a Medium-High speed for 50 seconds or until desired texture is reached.
