Notes

The ratio in this recipe is 1 vegetable to 1 fruit, which may be too sweet for some people and not sweet enough for others. If it’s not sweet enough, try adding more fruit or a little noncaloric sweetener (such as stevia).

This is great as a breakfast smoothie. I add agave nectar to mine.

Should I suspect that any blender can get rid of raspberry seeds? Just got the blendtec and thought they would be gone…Am I doing something wrong?

In general our blenders break down raspberry seeds. If the seeds are an issue, you can blend the raspberries alone to break down the seeds and then add the rest of your ingredients to finish your smoothie.

Why is a vinegar or fruit wash necessary if you wash the produce and it’s organic? Also, what proportion water to vinegar in a vinegar wash?
