Spring Green Smoothie

6 fl oz unsweetened almond milk
1 medium apple, cored and quartered
1 orange, peeled and halved
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 cup fresh spinach
¼ cup high-protein granola
2 cups ice cubes

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
½ banana
¼ cup rolled oats, dry
2 tbsp raw almonds

8 fl oz cranberry juice
½ cup water
1½ cups red cabbage
1 banana
½ cup fresh raspberries
1 Greek yogurt, vanilla (5.3 oz)
1 cup frozen strawberries

Strawberry Coconut Blend Smoothie Recipe

  • Thank you for your recipe, for better sweetener option use coconut sugar, it is great even for diabetics, it has low glycemic index
    nuts can be replaced by flakes of barley, it is so healthy, it contains so many heart full nutrients on top of good fibers

  • Hi Rosie,
    Oats do not contain gluten (they may contain a trace amount if they are processed in a factory that also processes wheat products). There are companies that process their oats in a facility that is dedicated to a gluten free facility (i.e. Bob’s Red Mill). Oats are a whole grain and they are an important part of a healthy diet. They are an excellent source of fiber and complex carbohydrates that give us long term energy throughout the day. For the yogurt, there are brands that are dairy free you can use instead. They have yogurts made from organic (GMO free) soy, coconut milk and almond milk that are delicious!!! You may want to try them.

    We definitely always like to try new recipes for all of our customers to enjoy. If there’s ever granola/oats listed in a smoothie, you can leave them out, it won’t change the recipe much. Also, using a banana in place of yogurt is a great option.

    My husband has been diagnosed with Diverticulitis therefore no nuts and seeds of any kind.
    So I am looking for recipes without any nuts and seeds
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Now you guys are finally starting to get on the right path! These are better smoothies than you normally come up with. Only a reasonable amount of fruit, no added sugar, and the inclusion of other good foods with the use of stevia (although if people are using a pure stevia, 1/4 teaspoon would be totally undrinkable…the scoop is minute, about the size of half a green pea and it would take about 3 or so for these). Keep up the good work!

  • Use Chia Seeds, nuts, or flax seed to add protein instead of the oats and granoloa. I never use yogurt in smoothies anymore – use almond milk or soy milk plus a half of a banana … and I sweeten with agave nectar when I want more … I also never use ice – I just use frozen fruit (cut into bite size pieces before frozen) – enjoy mixing things up to your own liking
