Again, as I told Stu, I’ve tried to leave a response 3 times now, and for some reason the moderator of this website is not "allowing" it. It’s simply a website (perhaps I’m not allowed to leave websites). Let’s try this: (www dot) beforeitsnews.com/health/20…

    Hope this helps.

Sadly, you are grossly misinformed (as so many are). Your comment describing the science of body pH and its affects to our health as a "pseudoscientific trend" shows you clearly have no true understanding of actual science. Actually, the pH of any substance itself is wholly irrelevant. It is the EFFECT of that substance on the human body—its ash residue. In other words, whether our bodies produce acidic ash or alkaline ash after consumption. A lemon in and of itself, which is highly acidic, is one of the most alkalizing foods available due to the effect it has on the body. We have an extremely intricate system that relies on the balance of our pH in order for all our cells to function properly. On top of that, all of the proteins that work in our body have to maintain a specific geometric shape to function, and the three-dimensional shapes of the proteins in our body are affected by the tiniest changes in the pH of our body fluids.

There is too much too share in a place that has nothing to do with this subject. Despite your "opinion" that this is some sort of a trend, the reality is, it is quite scientifically factual and proven. The world is full of acidic food and drink, and you (and anyone else) are more than welcome to load up on it as we do have free will (thankfully). It’s not my job nor my responsibility to try and "convince" or persuade anyone of anything. It’s a matter of educating ourselves so we make wiser/healthier decisions. Knowledge is power. Just made this….good concept, but the recipe needs some major modifications. Only use 1 cup of water or the mixture will be waaay too watered down. I used half an orange (double what the recipe calls for) and the citrus component was hardly noticeable—next time I’ll add half a lemon too. Cut the cinnamon down to 1 teaspoon. P.S. No need to peel your apples—they get pureed into oblivion, plus give it more body.
