There are a lot of legitimate reasons to avoid alcohol, but thinking it’s acidic isn’t one of them. Alcohol has a ph of 7, exactly the same ph as water. And the entire pseudoscientific trend of attributing every sort of health condition and disease to having a less than optimal body ph is, to be maximally charitable, not evidence based.

I think Michael started the whole comment about alcohol in a tongue in cheek way.
Most people like a alcohol in their drinks or think it won’t hurt and he was only making a suggestion.

SOUNDS GOOD AND HEALTHY CAN’T WAIT TO TRY IT.

That is true, but it stimulates hydrogen ion release from the gastric mucosa, and is responsible for gastritis and gastric ulcers. Please check the research.
I’m not saying I don’t drink, I just think you should check before you post.

Anne, eating food, literally any food, stimulates hydrogen ion release from the gastric mucosa. It’s a crucial part of the process of digestion. Reading Natural News, Food Babe and similar anti-science propagandizing is not synonymous with checking the research.
