Notes
To make this ice cream vegan, use coconut milk instead of half and half.
Remember to make this recipe your own! If you like it creamier or sweeter, add more cream or sugar. If you don't like larger pieces of pistachio, blend it to your desired texture.
Is there a vegan substitute for ‘half and half’?
You can use coconut milk!
I believe you can substitute coconut milk for the half and half
Im working on trying a coconut milk half and half substitute thats 1 part coconut milk and 1 part coconut cream this week. Hopefully itll be a success.
try almond milk…wont be as creamy but i find it a good substitute. if you want if a bit creamier throw in a few raw cashews with the other nuts.
They suggest coconut milk as a vegan option.
