Peanut Butter Recipe

homemade peanut butter recipe
This homemade peanut butter is delicious and all-natural! It takes a few cycles to transform whole peanuts to warm and creamy peanut butter.

Overview

Total time:  50 S

Servings:  16

Calories:  180

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 3 cups roasted and unsalted peanuts

Instructions

FourSide or WildSide+ Jar

  1. Add peanuts and salt to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Blend on Low speed for 15 seconds, then increase speed to High and blend until 50 seconds.
  2. Using a spatula or Spoonula, move peanuts towards center of jar, add oil and secure lid. Blend on medium to medium-low speed for 50 seconds, then blend on medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds.

Note: You can also make peanut butter without the added oil. Instead of adding the oil after the second cycle, simply blend the peanut butter for an additional 50 seconds on Low speed. Then, continue blending for two additional cycles as directed above.

Twister Jar

  1. Reduce ingredients by ½.
  2. Add peanuts and salt to Twister Jar. Blend on a medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds or until desired texture is reached. Turn lid counterclockwise while blending.

ummmmm…for the twister jar version…do you still use the oil?? It says reduce ingredients by 1/2 but only says to add peanuts and salt to the jar. Do you still use the oil and when?? Thanks! Oh…and can you use just plain peanuts or do they have to be roasted??

Do you need to refrigerate this peanut butter? How long will it stay fresh?

I’m interested in raw almond butter. Will this generally work?
