  • Can you substitute coconut oil instead of canola oil?

    Heather on

  • How long will this keep and/or can it be frozen?

    Jason on

  • Why are you wanting to use coconut oil? For the flavor?

    Chris on

  • Yes, if it is melted, you can. It may make it a little thicker, however.

  • How long will it last in the refrigerator?

    Brenda on

  • Yes, it will! And this is great as a salad dressing or marinade. Happy blending!

  • Would olive oil work ok? I’m thinking of making this a salad dressing (as well as a marinade)

  • Why isn’t some of the lime zest added in? Seems like a whole lot of flavour is being thrown out rather than incorporated into the marinade!

    Jade Gilbert on

  • I meant to say how long will it keep sealed in the frig, not the freezer?

    Dennis on

  • Up to one week.

    Blendtec on

  • It will last up to one week in the refrigerator.

  • You can certainly add lime zest in if you’d like.
