  2. Heat berry puree, sweetener, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and slowly stir in gelatin until no clumps are visible.
  3. Pour into a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Once snacks have set, remove from pan and cut into pieces.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use agar powder in place of gelatin.

Oooo Thanks this sounds good. I was wondering if i could use Chia seeds instead of gelatin because they thicken too like gelatin and they are full of calicum, iron and protein and they are vegan.

Chia seeds may be used as a thickener, though they may not set up the fruit snacks like a hard gelatin will. Agar powder will set up better than Chia seeds.

How did you cut them out into those tiny shapes? It looks like you must have had some type of cookie cutter, but I have never seen one that small? Help! It looks adorable and delicious for my late night computer classes at the community college with no dinner had!

Please respond! We have good questions here and no answers! Thank you!

We used a mini cookie cutter! You could also look for "jelly cutters" as they are similar. Happy blending!
