Instructions
- Add ingredients to WildSide+ or FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid. Select "Whole Juice" or blend on a Medium to Medium High speed for 50-60 seconds.
- Serve or store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Note: Use more or less water to vary the thickness of your raw cashew milk. A 4:1 ratio of water to cashews is similar to whole milk in taste. If you add another cup of water, the resulting 5:1 ratio is similar to 2% milk.
Notes
Use 1 Medjool date or 1 tbsp. of date paste instead of agave to sweeten it.
I was making heavy cream from soaked raw cashews today (1 cup cashews, soaked 4 h, 2 cups filtered water), and my husband and I could not decide which button on the TotalBlender Blendtec I should use. He insisted on the smoothie, and I tried that, but thought, maybe sauce would be better? Who has tried this? Which button of the six is best, soup??
I just made this – no sweetener or salt – and it was fantastic! I’ll never buy store bought nut milk again!
There isn’t really a right answer for this. We have a Garden Cashew Cream (http://www.blendtec.com/rec… recipe that uses the Ice Cream cycle. You can always just try one and stop it early or run it again until it reaches the desired consistency. You can also just use the manual speeds and control it yourself. :)
I have never soaked the cashews. The Blendtec makes perfectly smooth cashew milk as long as you use the correct settings. 3 cups water, 1 cup organic raw cashew pieces, 1 medjool date.
Does the taste profile change dramatically when cooked?
