Make sure the produce used in the juices and smoothies are thoroughly washed prior to use. Try adding a little more water to make the consistency more smooth. The pulp won’t go away completely (which is great because it maintains all the nutrients vs juicing where the pulp is removed) but the pulp should blend up. If allowed to rest, the smoothie/juice will separate (pulp and liquid).
My blender doesn’t have the whole juice option, what should I use to make the whole juice?
Very easy to strain if you dont like the pulp .
Blend on Medium High for 50-60 seconds. For your reference, you can find this and other blend cycle conversions here: http://www.blendtec.com/blo… so you don’t have to wait for an answer. :) Happy blending!
I just bought my blendtec 625 this afternoon and am scared… I tried my favorite juicing recipe and it has not liquid or water: 3 carrots, 1 lime, 1 stalk celery, 1 inch ginger, 1 cored apple. I put the apples in first, then the celery and then lime with rind on, and chopped and peeled the ginger, and then the carrots which were fat, so I cut them into about thumb size pieces or larger… No liquid. I turned it on, and pushed the "whole juice" button, and the blender seemed to be working too hard. So I turned it off and came in here… I don’t want to break it on its first ride!!!!!
