Rated 4 out of 5 by RebD from Luv my Blender, disappointed in the leaking gasket Ive not quite has this a year and the black gasket to my wildside jar started shredding - we'd see little black shreds on the base when we removed the jar- now the gasket leaks any liquid we put in. Im really disappointed and hope I can have the jar replaced since we dont use it daily but its a great product and the jars are awfully expensive if the gasket is going to shred and wiggle the blade and leak. I thought my kids did it so blamed them, but in the Q&A section here, I see its not an isolated situation. I hope we can get this resolved so I can go back to loving my blender!

Rated 5 out of 5 by scout from Blendtec honors their warranty I abuse my blender daily with frozen fruits, and the jar failed after having it for about 7 months. I got a new one in 3 days w/ no hassle after emailing customer service about it. Realistically, no blender jar's blade assembly is going to last years with daily use (I bought the blender expecting to need warranty replacements for the jar, since there's no chance it's going to last 7 years with daily use), so as long as blendtec keeps sending me new jars when they wear out for the duration of the warranty, I'm satisfied. The jar sounds different when it's starting to wear out, so when this happens get in touch w/ customer service so you can get a new one shipped out to you before the old one completely breaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rugger from Outstanding! I got the Wildside as a replacement for the original jar that I flat wore out. This jar is terrific -- it is quieter than the standard jar when I make my smoothies which are very heavy on the ice. It also blends the contents quicker than the original jar and has a lower profile. Also easier to clean than the original jar because the base is wider and I can get a cleaning brush down there very easily. Awesome jar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim D from Best Customer Service Ever I have 6 Blentecs and had no idea the warranty they carry. I just knew that it wast the best blender on the market. The jar blade in one of my blenders broke and I ordered another one. Thought it was a bit pricey, but when you buy the best you normally pay more. A couple of days later I get a call from someone at Blentec that said I was getting the blender for free (under warranty). Who does that???? After you have already paid, who gives you your money back??? Blendtec does! Not only the best blender on the planet, but the best customer service as well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by sandy21 from A Great Replacement I bought the wildside jar as a replacement for my regular jar when the latter's blender rotor blade seal shot black stuff all over the motor housing. I had bought a blendtec for my girlfriend with a wildside jar so I'm familiar with the advantages of this jar and I really like mine. I use it mostly to make morning smoothies where I can put nuts, veggies, fruit and all sorts of ingredients to aid my health. It handles everything quite well and I particularly like that it can start on a slow speed for other types of blending. After I bought the wildside jar I was contacted by a company representative who informed me that I had an active warranty on the blender and so I opted to accept a twister jar instead of a refund on the replacement jar. I'm looking forward to making peanut butter and hummus with the twister jar. I do, however, have a concern about the seals wearing out on the jars. The blendtec I got for my girlfriend is a year and a half old and I find black material oozing out of the bottom of the jar around the rotor/blade (see photo). As I think back on my original jar it showed those same signs. Yet there was never any leakage from the jar nor was there contamination of the ingredients of the jar and this holds true for the wildside jar that my girlfriend has. But when the seal blew on mine I didn't want to take a chance on leakage or contamination and so I ordered a new one. I'm posting this as a mixed review but I do like my blender!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel R from Got me a NEW Jar !!! I bought my Blendtec few years ago and love it. This year we started notice a noise when making our smoothies. I thought it was the blender so I call the company and explain the problem. I was ready to pay if need it but the lady who answered the phone give a troubleshoting ON THE PHONE (!!!) and said - "The problem is the jar not the blender, we can send you on a free one or for $20 we can send you the pro-something" I was so glad that I didn't care to pay right there for this new jar so I ordered it. We just got it, so happy. Mmm ... so this is NOT a review on the jar? Actually no, is a review on the company, 5 STARS ALL THE WAY, thanks a lot Blendtec for a amazing product and costumer service !!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by SnoothieLover1 from Need To Be Able To Replace Parts & Old Lids Better Why can't these be made to where the bearings and blades can be replaced? We like the system, but buying new jars all the time is too spendy. If this doesn't change, we will find a better system soon. Also, the lids have changed & the old lids were much better (easier to remove & clean up better). This blender jar us BY FAR better than the one you offer with a small base, as that smaller based one does not seem to have the right dimensions to allow for proper rotation to blend well at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nomad from Must Have For A Minimalist Kitchen This blender is extremely versatile. I use it for many tasks from whipping up smoothies and hummus to making bread dough. One base and two jars (Wildside and Twister) take up little space but deliver big on multi-function ability. If it could cook rice, it would be the only counter top appliance I would need. The really important thing is it works great.
