Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded My Expectations! I am more than impressed with this blender, and even it if dies the day the warranty expires at 8 years, it will well have been worth the investment. I had always heard about Vitamix blenders as being the best. With this blender, I was wary about having electronic controls, and overall I was unsure about Blendtec blenders. But when I had a sizable store credit at Bed Bath and Beyond, Vitamix blenders were not an option for my 20% coupon so I chose Blendtec. I am very hard on my kitchen tools, and this blender has stood up to my abuse. I used it almost daily and I can't imagine not having it. Everything blends so smoothly and it really looks beautiful on my counter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly aggressive awesome blender! We've been using this blender for about a month, and its been the best blender we've had. Its shear power is incredible. It has the ability to heat up liquids, just from friction at high speed. We've made many superfood smoothies & hot soups with it, and we were blown away with how it was capable of heating the soup with it! We had purchased a vitamix first, and returned it, because it came with a plunger, this indicated to us that the design of the jar must be lacking something. We love the digital controls and fact that the control panel is easy to clean. Electronic controls always trumps switches in my opinion, because there are no contacts to go bad. The Blendtec is worth every penny!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything we wanted in a blender...and much more! Switching from a cheap blender to a premium one is a big step (and investment). But the ease of use and variety of uses make the jump entirely worth it. From ice cream to hot soup – from nut butters to smoothies, our Blendtec takes the place of several other appliances. The online recipe book gives endless options, but the real value is that it's easy to use and simple to clean... meaning this is the type of purchase you'll enjoy using and *keep* using regularly. It devours fresh (or frozen) fruits and veggies, so there's zero headache to eat healthy. Can't recommend this enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super powerful Who knew this is how blenders were supposed too work? It's extremely powerful and has no problem crushing ice and plenty of frozen fruit. My only complaint is if the plastic center part of the lid is dirty at all, specifically when making two different smoothies in a row, the middle part had popped off twice causing the ingredients to fly ALL over the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Blender we have ever owned We have had it for about 4 months now and can not imagine how we would ever get along without one. Almost frighteningly powerfull. Blends any food you can put in it. Fun to use. Purchased the mini twister jar to grind almonds and pecans for low carb pie crusts. You need one you just dont know it yet!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overly disappointed and returned the blender. I purchased the Blentec 575 in August 2015. The base is very un-stable when running and shakes to the point of the lid coming off. The rubber lid secures nicely with a little effort, however, the plastic middle insert shakes off. We attempted loading the blender different ways as recommended, however, this is still a major problem with the stability of the base. The blend is very very very loud. So loud the dogs run and hide! The blades do not chop and blend things very well without an extended time in the blender. Then also with the Wildside design you are said to not need a tamper, however, things do get stuck quite often. Overall this was a very poor experience and waste of time and money, therefore, we returned the product. We were overly excited when we ordered this product only to be severely let down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality downhill Loved our first Blendtec but motor began overheating after the first 9 months. Our replacement model has an annoying cheap Blendtec label on it that pops out just enough to dribble food inside the unit. The prior better are unit was a solid piece behind the label. My daughter is having same issue. Guess we'll both upgrade to. Vitamix if we have further issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pre-programmed features Have used Vitamix 6300, I find the Blendtec 575 to be a nice overall machine. The Four-Side jar is easier to clean than the multi-sided jar on the 6300. The 8-year warranty is a nice feature. Purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond, I believe when this unit first came out, it did not come with instructions on the control panel button operations - found the info needed by doing an internet search (no available instructions on Blendec site).

The 575 Caribbean model is the same as all of the 575's. We have a surplus of the Caribbean color so for a limited time we have put them on sale.

What's the difference between the wild side jar and the 4 sided jar. Also can I get the twist jar with this model and how much is it?

Asked by: Lynsismac
The WildSide jar has a bigger blade and is larger than the FourSide jar. You can purchase the Twister Jar for all of our Blendtec blenders. It is on our web site for $129.95.

I am looking for a blender that can blend my bulletproof coffee.  I was thinking Blentec or Vitamin would be the way to go since they both have a soup mode.  I just looked at the manual and it says don't blend hot liquids. Help!?

Asked by: SKMC
You can make soup with this blender. The jar will heat up the liquid with the friction of the blade. However, do not put hot liquid into the as the jar is a type of plastic and the steam could force the liquids out through the top of the jar.
