Raw Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Cranberries show their festive hue in October through December. This tart and tangy berry is an excellent source of vitamin C and antioxidants. For a little crunch, sprinkle chopped walnuts on this sauce.

    • What food do you recommend to eat with sauce?

      Lukpla on

    • No, you do not use the peel. You removed the peel and halve the orange. Happy blending!

    • You’re absolutely right and we are working on updating all of our recipes to have more universal instructions. Our apologies that there are still some that haven’t been updated. Hopefully this will help: if it says to run on a speed 1-10, think of that as a scale from low (1-3) to medium (4-6) to high (7-10) and if it calls for a blend cycle you don’t have, please refer to these blend cycle conversions: http://www.blendtec.com/blo… Hope this helps!

    • I LOVE my Blendtec. I purchased it at COSTCO and it’s the basic unit with the fourside jar. It kinda disappoints me when recipes like the one above for the Raw Cranberry Sauce aren’t given alternative blending instructions because I don’t have the most up-to-date model with all the bells and whistles. Please consider doing that with your recipes in the future. Thanks

    • We eat it by itself just like applesauce.

    • In the United States, it is eaten as a side or relish with turkey on Thanksgiving, however, you can eat it on toast, sandwiches, rolls, and whatever else you’d like!

    • Do I use the entire orange peel?

    • This is my favorite recipe of all time. I use two oranges and omit the orange juice.
