Hummus Recipe

hummus recipe
Hummus is an inexpensive, high-fiber and protein-packed food, yet only a few home chefs dabble in this dip. This Middle Eastern mixture of chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans, and tahini has endless possibilities, so there's no reason for hummus humdrum.

Way too thin. I’d leave out the juice from the garbanzo bean can and only add if needed. Tastes great!

Very good and so easy. Used wild side jar, as that’s all I have. I added three times the lemon, a little more salt, reduced the olive oil. Next time, I’ll cook the garbonzos from scratch.

I add red peppers to this from the recipe that came with my blendtec. LOVE IT!

I have made hummus several different ways but I finally found my all time favorite in the Blendtec Recipe book.
use above recipe but use Lime Juice instead of Lemon, 1"x1" Lime Zest and 1/2 cup Cilatro (loosely packed). Amazing!!!!
