As the weather grows warmer and the days grow longer, certain slow-to-ripen crops that first sprouted in spring will become more available. Other produce that requires more sunlight or warmer temperatures may also sprout, either to be consumed in mid or late summer, or to fully ripen during the fall. Here is a list deliciously grown food that one can enjoy during the summer:
