7 Favorite Blendtec Dessert Recipes
Happy National Dessert Day!
I have always loved dessert - especially anything with chocolate in it! I grew up in a home with a mother who always had treats around. She would make cookies or cake, kept ice cream in the freezer, or at the very least, had a candy cupboard for us to raid. Because of this, I am used to ending a meal with dessert (and I crave it)! A few years ago, I was watching the movie Remember Me1 and I identified with a conversation the main characters had while at a restaurant:
Ally: I have my dessert first.
Tyler: Is that a political statement? A medical condition, perhaps?
Ally: I just don't see the point in waiting. I mean, what if I die while eating my entree?
Tyler: Is that probable?
Ally: It's possible. What if I choke? What if an asteroid came hurling down onto the restaurant?... I'll tell you what, if you swear on your eternal soul that I'll make it through my entree, then I'll wait. But before you answer, consider that if something does happen, you'll have to live the rest of your life knowing that not only did you lie to me, but you denied me of my one last indulgence. Are you prepared to shoulder that kind of responsibility?
While I don't eat dessert first, it is my favorite part of a meal and I don't like missing it! Here are some tasty dessert ideas to try today (or anytime!):

These kinds of blendtec dessert taste good but they are high in fat and sugar. So we all need to be careful.
