7 Healthy Meal Replacement Smoothie Diet Recipes
In order to remain happy, healthy, and strong, your body should be getting a certain amount of protein and fiber every day.* This is true for everyone, but it is especially important for those who want to lose weight quickly. Unfortunately, many dieters think that the quickest way to a swimsuit-worthy body is through starvation.
The problem with this mentality is that it puts the body into a survival mode, where it begins to burn through muscle rather than stored fat in order to free up important nutrients. Instead, the best way to lose weight is to monitor food intake, and to make sure that you’re taking in the right kind of foods, like kale or spinach.
This is where a healthy meal-replacement smoothie diet comes in and can help with weight-loss. Meal replacement smoothies give the body a heaping helping of the nutrition it needs, without the added fat and sugars that tend to collect as unwanted flab around the midsection (and elsewhere). My name is Nicole and I suffer from Lupus and Fibromyalgia. I came across this post and was so enamored by how healthy they were and possibly filling. What is the carb intake for all of these smoothies? I want to make sure that I’m getting at least 45 percent of my caloric intake from carbs, 35 from protein, and 20 from fats.Hi Victoria I have allergies too so I buy a pea protein powder. You can get it at most health shops in a variety of flavors. Give it a go.
Hi is it possible to replace breakfast & lunch with the these meal replacement smoothies & then have a balanced dinner? If so could you eat a protein based snack mid morning between the breakfast smoothie & lunch smoothie & then another protein snack mid afternoon? A protein snack being a hard boiled egg or a handful of nuts say.
