FAQs

Blend, Set, Go!
The Blendtec Go™ travel jar accessory offers the first disposable blend-in-cup option for use with Blendtec’s high-powered blenders. Find answers to your frequently asked questions here.
1. What’s the best way to clean my Blendtec Go™?
The very best way to clean your Blendtec Go™ is to avoid the mess altogether by using a disposable cup. Simply fill the disposable cup with your ingredients, insert into the GO travel jar to blend, and remove the cup, leaving the jar completely clean. If you do decided to blend in the Blendtec Go™ travel jar, wash pieces separately in the dishwasher (top rack only, do not use heat cycle) or by hand. For a more thorough cleaning, remove the red silicone gasket from the micronizer assembly and wash separately. Allow gasket and micronizer to dry thoroughly before reassembly.
2. What type of disposable cups should I use in the Blendtec Go™?
Blendtec recommends using Kirkland or Solo brand disposable cups.
3. Can I blend hot ingredients in the Blendtec Go™?
Because there is no ventilation, do not blend hot liquids in the Blendtec Go™. Avoid blends longer than 90 seconds to prevent ingredients from getting hot.
4. How much can the Blendtec Go™ hold?
The Blendtec Go™ can hold as much as possible, as long as you leave room for the micronizer blade assembly to be attached to the blending cup. The Blendtec Go™™ travel jar is marked for 24 ounces, but can hold up to 32 ounces.
5. What material is the Blendtec Go™ made of?
The Blendtec Go™ travel jars are made of Eastman Tritan™ copolyester. You can learn more about the jars here. The travel jar lid is made from High-Density PolyOLYETHYLENE (HDPE).
6. How do I load ingredients into the Blendtec Go™ properly?
Begin with heavy, dense ingredients like ice, frozen fruit or grapes. Then add soft foods like spinach and top with anything sticky like honey or peanut butter and follow with liquid. Tip: If using protein powder, add liquid first, powder second and then follow with remaining ingredients.
7. How do I get stains out of my Blendtec Go™ travel jar?
Please see our stain removal tips here.
