- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tbsp. corn syrup
- 1 large egg well beaten
- 2 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 cups buttermilk

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Add ingredients to Mix n Blend II mixing bowl. Mix until well blended.
- Pour batter into greased medium-size pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
Very good! Moist and dense. Used maple syrup for sweetener. I’ve made this several times-so easy.
