Queso Recipe

Queso and chips

Queso is a beloved staple in Tex-Mex cuisine. Whether you're enjoying it with tortilla chips, veggies, or using it as a topping for your favorite Mexican dish, queso is sure to warm your heart and your stomach.

One of the best things about this recipe is how easy it is to make. With just a few simple ingredients and a Blendtec blender, you can have a delicious, creamy queso dip in no time. Plus, the blender ensures that the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.

But the real star of the show here is the flavor. The combination of sauteed onions and jalapenos, along with diced tomatoes and spices, creates a zesty, tangy base for the cheese to shine. And speaking of cheese - with two whole cups of shredded cheddar, this queso is definitely not shy on the cheesy goodness.

Enjoy this queso as a dip or whip up some nachos by drizzling it over chips topped with beans, pico de gallo, olives, jalapenos, and guacamole.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
