The ratio for sucanat and brown sugar is 1:1 so you can use the same amount of brown sugar (3/4 cup). Happy blending!

This recipe has pumpkin spice being added in step 2 and step 5. Is this an error or is truly added twice?

We recommend buttermilk but you can make milk work as a substitute by adding lemon juice, yogurt or cream of tartar. Check out this post to see details on how to make it work: http://joythebaker.com/2013… Happy blending!

I just purchased the Designer 625 model yesterday and I do not see the "batter" function on my machine? Is there another setting I can use to make this recipe? Thanks!
