Watermelon Raspberry Lemonade

This lemonade contains three very awesome fruits: watermelon, raspberries, and lemons. Now, everyone knows that fruits are nutritious and healthy for you, but in case your forgot how nutritious and healthy, we're going to share some of that information with you today.

Watermelon

A tasty and refreshing red fruit. Very popular during the summer months and enjoyed by many. Watermelon contains, well, a lot of water. In fact, it's water content is 91.5%. It's also very rich in lycopene, a cancer-fighting antioxidant that is found in many red fruits and vegetables. Vitamins A, B6, and C can also be found in watermelon.

Raspberries

Red raspberries are a great source of fiber. Up to 20% of their total weight is made up of fiber. Raspberries also contain folic acid, magnesium, copper, iron, and manganese. One cup of raspberries provides half of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C.

Lemons

Lemons can be a great addition to many dishes and drinks, but they also have other great uses. If you have a sore throat gargle the juice of one lemon mixed with an equal part of hot water, it does wonders. If your kitchen sink is starting to stink, you can put half of lemon down the garbage disposal and run it for a bit, your sink will smell lemon-y fresh in no time. Lemons are also high in vitamin C. Plus, they always make good lemonade. References Watermelon.org Health.com Fitday.com Sunkist.com
