Tasty 4th of July Desserts
Red, White, and Blueberry Cheesecake
What's more American than a classic cheesecake? Our twist adds fresh berries for a burst of color and flavor, paying tribute to the Star-Spangled Banner.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups mixed strawberries and raspberries (red)
- 1 cup blueberries (blue)
- 2 cups whipped cream or Greek yogurt (white)
Instructions
- Blend the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a WildSide+ or FourSide jar.
- Press into the bottom of a springform pan to create the crust.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and whipping cream in your Blendtec.
- Blend until smooth, and pour this mixture over your prepared crust.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, arrange the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries in a flag pattern on top of your cheesecake. Add dollops of whipped cream or Greek yogurt for stars.
Watermelon Slushie
Cheers to summer and chill out with this delightful frozen drink. Adults, try customizing with your rum or tequila of choice.
Ingredients
- Chunks of watermelon (seedless)
- Squeeze of lime juice
- Handful of ice cubes
- Watermelon wedges (for garnish)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to WildSide+ or FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid.
- Blend on "Batters/Dips" cycle or on a Medium speed for 30 seconds.
- Garnish each glass with a watermelon wedge.
Patriotic Popsicles
These icy treats are perfect for a hot Fourth of July day, and they're as healthy as they are delicious.
Ingredients
- 12 oz. strawberries
- 12 oz. blueberries
- 3 bananas
- 6 Tbsp. coconut cream (2 Tbsp. for each fruit blend)
- 3 Tbsp. simple syrup (1 Tbsp. for each fruit blend)

- Blend the strawberries with 2 Tbsp. of coconut cream and 1 Tbsp. of simple syrup. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
- Pour 2 Tbsp. of the strawberry blend into each popsicle slot or cut. Freeze for 15 minutes.
- Blend the bananas with 2 Tbsp. of coconut cream and 1 Tbsp. of simple syrup. Pour the mixture into a separate bowl.
- Pour the banana mixture (2 Tbsp. for each slot) into the mold. Freeze for another 15 minutes.
- Blend the blueberries with 2 Tbsp. of coconut cream and 1 Tbsp. of simple syrup. Pour the mixture into the third bowl.
- Add the blueberry blend to the mold, filling them to the top.
- Seal the mold with the silicone lid and insert popsicle sticks, leaving about 1 inch of the stick showing.
- Place the lidded popsicle mold in the freezer for 5-6 hours.
Fruit Dip and Flag-Inspired Fruit Salad
Serve a vibrant fruit salad as a centerpiece at your 4th of July gathering. Dress the fruit with a sweet and tangy fruit dip that is sure to be a hit.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- Fresh blueberries
- Sliced strawberries
- Sliced bananas
Instructions
- Add whipping cream to the Twister jar, and secure the lid. Select Speed 2, and let run for 10 seconds, turning the lid counterclockwise during blending.
- Add raspberries and vanilla yogurt, and place the Twister lid on the jar. Select Speed 1, and let run for 8–10 seconds, turning the lid counterclockwise during blending.
- In a large dish, arrange the sliced strawberries and bananas in alternating rows, resembling the American flag stripes.
- Add blueberries into the top left corner, forming the "stars" section.
- Serve the dip alongside the fruit salad.
Pro-tip: Toss a bunch of other red, white, and blue fruit in your bowl for extra flavor.
