Holiday Dinner Menu [Meal Planning Monday]

One of the things I love about the holidays is trying the different foods that people make for their holiday parties. For many people, this week is a week full of parties. If you're still in the planing stages of what to make for your holiday gathering, here's a great menu with a few different options to make in your Blendtec blender. Just pick one of the two meals under each category and create your perfect holiday feast.

For the Cranberry-Pomegranate Vinaigrette salad, sprinkle nuts, seeds, orange segments, red onion slivers, and caramelized pecans over fresh greens. Garnish with cranberries or pomegranate seeds. The Caesar salad is a bit more simple: romaine lettuce, croutons, thin slices of Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing.

The Vegetable Chowder is a delicious soup that all your guests are sure to enjoy. Put this traditional BBQ sauce on your ribs and cook how you desire.

Corn bread is a great addition to the soup, and the curried apricot sauce with shrimp is a perfect accompaniment to your ribs.

Both desserts, the Almond- and Jam-Topped Pastry and Peppermint Brownies, are a delicious way to end your dinner. If one of these desserts doesn't work for you, check out some of Blendtec's other delicious dessert options.
