Fill the Blendtec - Feed Our Community

The air is crisp. The leaves have changed and some snow has even fallen. It can only mean one thing— we’re approaching the most wonderful time of the year! However, for thousands of Americans it’s a time of worry instead of joy. Instead of planning their Thanksgiving menu, their thoughts are occupied with the pangs of hunger, soup lines, and makeshift and crowded shelters.

So, this holiday season, Blendtec has decided to help in the only way we know how – by blending! We have teamed up with other local businesses to fill the largest Blendtec blender anyone has ever seen! Outside of Blendtec headquarters sits a 37-foot Blendtec blender that is big enough to hold nearly 500,000 16-ounce smoothies.

However, instead of filling it with fruit and ice, we are filling the blender with cans and other non-perishable food items to be donated to Community Action Food Bank here in Orem, Utah. This will be used to create 53,000 meals for those in our local community. With your help, and the help of those in our Blendtec community, we can fill the blender to the top and make this holiday season a little brighter for our community members in need. 

We invite you to help us Fill the Blendtec and Feed Our Community by bringing canned goods, non-perishables, and cash donations to the Blendtec headquarters at 1206 S. 1680 W. Orem, Utah. For those outside of Utah, visit our virtual food drive and help us blend something special for those in need!
