Classic Hummus

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini
1 clove garlic, quartered
12 tsp kosher salt
15 oz can chickpeas, drained and
⅓ cup liquid reserved

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini
1 clove garlic, quartered
12 tsp kosher salt
15 oz can chickpeas, drained and 3-4 tbsp liquid reserved
1 cup roasted red peppers
12 tsp ground cumin
18 tsp cayenne pepper

Black Bean Hummus

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp tahini
1 clove garlic, quartered
12 tsp kosher salt
15 oz can black beans, drained and 1 tbsp liquid reserved
12 tsp ground cumin
14 tsp cayenne pepper
14 tsp smoked paprika

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
7 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp lime zest
2 tbsp tahini
1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, loosely packed
1 clove garlic, quartered

15 oz can chickpeas, drained and ⅓ cup liquid reserved

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini
1 clove garlic, quartered
12 tsp kosher salt

15 oz can sun-dried tomatoes, drained and ¼ cup liquid reserved
14 tsp paprika

  • I believe you accidentally repeated the amount of chickpeas and withheld the amount of sundries tomatoes in the recipe for sundries tomato hummus. I’d love to get the full recipe. Thank you.

  • Hi Roger,
    This recipe has been updated. You should use a 15 oz can of sun-dried tomatoes, and reserve 1/4 cup of the liquid for the recipe.

  • I want to make the Sun Dried Tomato Hummus recipe, but the ingredients listed show a 15 oz. can of chickpeas listed TWICE and no amount of sun-dried tomatoes is given. How much sun-dried tomatoes should I add? And, can these be ‘dried’ or packed in oil, or water?

    We have made the correction. The recipe calls for a 15 oz can of sun-dried tomatoes, drained and 1/4 cup of the liquid reserved.

  • The Sun-Dried Tomato Hummus recipe does not list any tomatoes in the ingredients, but it does duplicate the can of chickpeas in the ingredients list. Could a correction be needed?
