This green smoothie is a great one to add to a meal to get your greens and fruits in. If you are just starting out with green smoothies, you may want to substitute the banana with strawberries or another berry of your choice – it makes it taste a little less “green.” If you’re looking for a smoothie that tastes less sweet and more “green,” try substituting the banana with ½ of an avocado. Make this smoothie yours and let us know what you try – did you add cinnamon, ginger, lime juice? Substitute a fruit? Tell us in the comments below or on the recipe page.
