The Twister™ jar is designed to blend your thickest recipes, such as nut butters, hummus, baby food, dips, thick shakes, dressings and more! Best of all, the Twister jar is compatible with all Blendtec consumer blenders.

To use the jar, simply add ingredients and twist the lid counter-clockwise while the blend cycle is running. This twisting motion forces the ingredients from the sides of the jar back into the blade, allowing you to achieve a perfect blend every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this jar! I have used this jar multiple times every day since I took it out of the box! I've made the Berry Soft Serve recipe from the recipe booklet every day. I've make Raw Ranch Dressing, Macadamia Cream, Raw Russian Salad Dressing, just to name a few. Our whole family is just in love with this new jar. The spatula is an engineering triumph and it actually gets out every last bit of our expensive organic nut recipes with ease. We are impressed with the removable lid centers and recipe booklet too. All the pieces of this package are well thought out and well worth the price. Bravo, Blendtec, you've put together something worthy of your amazing blender. No cheaping-out on anything. We are customers since 2006.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must-have for hummus, nut butters, and more... Wasn't sure how handy this would be, but I'm a big fan of hummus and spreads, so I thought I'd try it. What I didn't realize was that its more petite size fits perfectly under counter when atop my blender, and it's just the right size for a morning smoothie for one. I put in all my fresh greens and fruits with a little ice or water, and get 16 oz of heaven without using the bigger Wildside or Standard jars. LOVE IT! Clean up is simple too. Great product for the money, and dramatically different than any other offering from Blendtec.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the preprogrammed settings! I received my Blendtec a week ago. I heard wonderful things about it from other reviewers online. It's BETTER than I expected, and easier to make all of the things that I bought it for than I thought it would be because of the preprogrammed settings. For example, I can make a green smoothie in 40 seconds by putting a little water in, filling it with leafy greens just the way I bought them, and tossing in a whole apple, or handful of berries and pushing ONE BUTTON, ONE TIME! It takes 8 seconds of preparation and 32 seconds of blending (where I do nothing but watch it adjust it's own speeds, and get a glass out of the cupboard). It takes me 20 seconds to clean up by rinsing the jar and lid with water and setting them upside down to air dry. It's so cool!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Curry Paste! This new gadget helps me make Malaysian curry paste in a jiffy! However, the downside is the jar is discolored from blending all the spices, especially the turmeric & chilies. Also, wished it was cheaper so I could buy another one for my smoothies. I don't want my smoothies to smell like curry! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Perfectly! It isn't often you follow the instructions and get results like you saw in the video. But with this I followed the instructions exactly, simply pressing a few buttons and twisting the lid as I blended, and the nut butter was perfect. The other day I had apples but no peanut butter. But I found a jar of cashews and 2 minutes later I was eating apples with cashew butter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was not what I expected, it was better I ordered the smaller jar, and it was much smaller than I expected. I really do love it. I use it as my main jar now. I still will replace my cracked larger jar, that I have had for over 20 years. I use my blendtec everyday. Usually twice a day. Once for my morning juice and then I usually have spices etc that need blending at dinner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does the job I received this along with my refurbished Blendtec Classic. I use it to make sorbets and nut butter. As long as you don't overfill it, and you cut the frozen fruit for the sorbets to the right size (about one-inch cubes), it works well. I put in a lot of almonds one night while making almond butter and it took a few processes to get it completely smooth. Once I put the proper amount of almonds in, it worked fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Blender! Lets get the negatives out of the way... I haven't been successful in making ice cream, even when I follow the recipes provided but its not a big deal to me because it works great for all the things I actually bought it for. I had a hard time with thick things in the regular Blendtec blenders, but the twister jar can whip through all those troubles with ease. I have made super thick hummus, awesome guacamole, almond butter, sesame tahini, and baby food. Its my go to blender for the things I make and I love it!

Would this be the best jar to make confectioner powder consistency from grain kernels?

Asked by: rookedrolsta
Any of the jars will make flour from grain. If it is not fine enough just blend again. However, this may scratch the jar which is not covered under warranty as it is only cosmetic. The Twister jar will only hold a small amount of grain.

I don't have a twister jar but tried to make peanut butter using my Classic 575 with Fourside Jar - it failed. I just bought it instead another powerful blender. Is there a way to do this, and if so, how? Thank you

Asked by: sandangel
Our Twister jar is the best jar for making nut butters, but you can do it in the FourSide jar, but it will take longer and a little more work. You will need about 1 cup of nuts, maybe a little more, and blend on a medium speed. You will need to stop blending every 10 seconds or so to scrape the sides to push everything back into the center of the jar.

I need to blend sugar to make into powered sugar what container would work best for that? And how do I go buying a replacement jar?

Asked by: Patty
The FourSide and WildSide jars will both work well, it just depends on much sugar you are blending. The WildSide jar is larger and will blend more in one blend, but the FourSide jar is probably the best to use. If your jar is still under warranty, call 800.748.5400 for assistance.
