Instructions
FourSide or WildSide+ Jar
- Add peanuts and salt to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Blend on Low speed for 15 seconds, then increase speed to High and blend until 50 seconds.
- Using a spatula or Spoonula, move peanuts towards center of jar, add oil and secure lid. Blend on medium to medium-low speed for 50 seconds, then blend on medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds.
Note: You can also make peanut butter without the added oil. Instead of adding the oil after the second cycle, simply blend the peanut butter for an additional 50 seconds on Low speed. Then, continue blending for two additional cycles as directed above.
Twister Jar
- Reduce ingredients by ½.
- Add peanuts and salt to Twister Jar. Blend on a medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds or until desired texture is reached. Turn lid counterclockwise while blending.
Use 1 cup of peanuts in the Mini Twister. Happy blending!
It’s around 70 (about 3/4ths up on the slider)
You can do one of two things: 1) Stop blending before smooth. 2) Leave some peanuts out and "Pulse" them in after getting the smooth texture with the rest of them. Hope this helps, happy blending!
How do you make crunchy peanut butter using the wideside jar?
I made peanut butter in my Twister Jar with only 2 cups of salt roasted peanuts; no added salt, and no added oil. By running 2 cycles on medium, it turned out perfect, however, it’s not as firm as store-bought peanut butter, so I’m wondering if it’s going to be OK to use in my Buckeyes candy recipe that our family makes every Christmas.
