Mini WildSide Jar Recipes

“The Mini WildSide jar has quickly become a staple in my kitchen.  It makes cooking a breeze and is especially perfect for smaller servings.  I love whipping up my morning smoothie, or a quick sorbet for just my husband and I to enjoy after the kids go to bed.  It’s also my go-to kitchen tool to prep quick meals when I’m cooking for myself during the day or smaller amounts, like a quick marinade or sauce.”

Cheesy Cauliflower Sauce

This creamy sauce offers full flavor with lower fat and calories than its traditional counterpart.  Packed with vegetables, it satisfies even the pickiest of eaters with its velvety texture and cheesy flavor. Use it to top pasta or vegetable noodles or on a white pizza or a dip for breadsticks!

2 cups roughly chopped cauliflower florets (7 ounces)
1½ tbsp low-fat cream cheese
4 tbsp freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
2-4 tbsp low-fat or non-fat milk
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp granulated chicken bouillon, or  half of a bouillon cube

  1. Steam cauliflower until tender.
  2. Use a slotted spoon to transfer cauliflower to Mini WildSide jar and add cream cheese, Parmesan, 2 tablespoons milk, salt, garlic, and bouillon.
  3. Blend on a Medium speed for 30 seconds or until smooth, scraping down sides if necessary.
  4. If needed, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of milk (or more if needed) until desired consistency is reached. Season with additional salt if desired.

Yields about 2 (1/2 cup) servings.

Mini WildSide Recipes

“I am so excited about the new Mini Wildside jar! I use my Blendtec most often to make protein shakes or smoothies in the mornings. When I’m in a rush to get out the door I don’t have time to measure out ingredients. With my WildSide+ jar I usually end up making a much larger smoothie than I meant to and a lot of my ingredients go to waste. With the Mini WildSide, jar I can throw in all of my favorite fruits and veggies and know that I’ll still end up with the perfect single serving!”

This protein shake is my go-to breakfast on busy mornings! It’s packed with super foods like chia seeds and spinach for a big punch of beneficial nutrients first thing in the morning. Plus, it’s delicious and filling enough to last you until lunchtime.

1 scoop peanut butter protein powder
1 banana
2 tsp chia seeds
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 cup spinach
1 cup ice

  1. Add all the ingredients to your Mini WildSide jar in the order listed.
  2. Blend on “Smoothie” cycle or on a Medium speed for 50 seconds.
  3. Enjoy!

Mini WildSide Jar Recipes“I’ve been a huge fan of Blendtec for a long time, so when they released the Twister jar a few years ago, I was beyond thrilled to be able to whip up small batches of salad dressings, dessert sauces, nut butters, and smoothies. But I kept running into a problem where the Twister jar was not quite big enough, but the regular jar was far too big; either things were leaking out the top (or flying, during one particularly memorable incident) or it was too little food with too much blender.

The Mini WildSide jar has totally changed the game for me. It’s the perfect size for my morning protein shakes and my favorite green smoothies, and I absolutely love it for nut butters, like this Honey Roasted Peanut Butter-Chocolate Spread (which is pretty much my favorite thing in the world to eat with apples.)”

Mini WildSide Jar Recipes

Honey Roasted Peanut Butter-Chocolate Spread

16 oz honey roasted peanuts (about 3 cups)
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1 tbsp cocoa powder

  1. Place the honey roasted peanuts in the Mini WildSide jar and blend until smooth (the “Smoothie” cycle seems to work the best, then you can pulse as needed to reach your desired consistency.) Set aside.
  2. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe cup or bowl and microwave 20 seconds at a time, stirring each time the microwave stops, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  3. Add to the peanut butter.
  4. Add the cocoa powder and “Pulse” until the chocolate is completely incorporated into the peanut butter.
  5. Enjoy as a spread on bread, toast, rolls, or croissants or as a fruit dip/spread. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks.

I would love to have the new Mini WildSide jar. I live alone and have often wished I had a smaller jar for my smoothies, dips etc. Love, love, love my Blendtec.

  • Sonny

Love my Blendtec, and the bigger size jar, but also would like the smaller Mini WildSide to cut back on my portions.

  • Erika

I would love to win one. My family of four loves to cook and bake. It would be well used for all the times we need some chopped pecans for a pie, cut up pickles for tuna fish sandwiches. The list goes on and on. Our big one is constantly in use and this would would be such a welcome, appreciated addition.

I love a basic soup using… a cup of black beans, a few cloves of garlic, a slice of onion, 1/4 c corn, a slice of Serrano pepper a dash of salt and a cup of chicken stalk ..yum. I will try too to alter a bit for the new mini!

  • Joyce

I’m excited about this and hope I win! I’m ready to step up my blender game and teach healthy eating classes highlighting the virtues of the Blendtec.

  • Dot

I would LOVE to win one of these mini wildside jar and expand my Blendtec to 24 oz. i love the big blender , the smaller one would put to good use.

  • Lynne

I would make more salad dressings in the small jar, plus such things as the milk/egg mixture for French toast. There are many things that would make a small jar useful.

I retired from working at a school after 30 years; I was a secretary. I got a Blendtec for my retirement gift. I use my Blendtec every day; but I’m the only one. Would LOVE a Blendtec Mini WildSide jar; would make my life complete!

  • Sandy Stephens

I would love it to make small batches of smoothies, vinaigrettes, milk shakes! I would LOVE to win one!

  • Karen

I so love the idea of the smaller one for sauces and thicker smaller blending. And yes, like the other Karen, the size is great too, as I love to overdo in the larger one and make more then I can drink.

  • Karen

I almost bought a single serve blender because I blend just for me but I went for Blendtec because of the superior quality. Now I’m doubley glad since the Mini Wildside is here. My daily smoothie could be so much more economical. I’d love to win one. MY favourite is pineapple orange mango coconut milk, tastes like a vacation.

  • Stephanie Archibald

I would make delicious green smoothies! Someday’s I just don’t feel like eating salad but I love drinking them! !

  • Dawn

I hear the blendtec is awesome. I have always wanted to try one. I am a family of 1. The mini blendtec is the perfect size for me. I would love to win one:)

  • Justine Kovach

The recipes look like they’d be awesome, it also seems they’d be a dreamy breeze to whip up in Blendtec’s other jars too.

  • Susana

So hard to decide, but quick servings of ice cream, weekly pots of strawberry jam, single servings of my favourite-but-nobody-else’s smoothies…

  • Tina

That jar looks solid. I’m wandering though, could it be used to grind meat or it’s only useful when blending vegetables?

    • Hi Tina,
You should be able to grind meat easily in the Mini WildSide jar. Use 1.5 – 2 cups of raw meat, cubed and partially frozen or cooked meat, cubed. Add the cubed meat to the jar and secure lid. Press “Pulse” 4-6 times or until ground to desired consistency.
