Total Blender Classic WildSide is rated 4.5161 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 years and 500+ uses and still going strong I bought this blender in 2011, and as of 2 weeks ago I hit my 500th cycle, and it still performs like it did when I first got it. I have made many things with it from smoothies to dips and shakes it performs flawlessly and gives restaurant quality each time. I must also add that it has also outlived 3 blenders I had prior to this one. Once you get over the initial sticker shock and use it, you will see it is totally worth what you pay for it. If you're looking for something for the long haul and will perform better then anything out there look no further then Blendtec.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I got mine just a month ago & have used it to make whole juices & smoothies. While it's a lil noisier than expected, I LOVE the power it has. Only one problem; my husband bought whole bean coffee today & forgot to have it ground, but he looked up blendtec & said, "hey, we can do it in the blender!" So we did. The ground coffee came out great, but unfortunately, even after just 5 seconds, it scarred the jar, so now it's cloudy at the bottom. I guess that's to be expected because it's plastic, but I wish there had been a warning. I'm sure it won't affect the performance, I just liked it to look clean, since it sits out on the counter. Still love the blender, though!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't last I bought one of these four years ago and absolutely loved it for about 3 years, which is the length of the warranty. After that, it seemed to not work as well, having more and more difficulty thoroughly blending things, with the blade getting stuck more and more. Eventually it started overheating and not working well at all, until it finally had smoke pouring from the motor last time I used it. At approximately $400, I had expected this to be a lifetime investment, but I was very disappointed to just have to throw the whole thing away after only four years. It is true that I used it a lot, but for that price, it should have lasted a lot longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazon, easy to use, love it! My mom bought this about nine months ago and hasn't really used it ever because she says you have to buy food that you usually don't have around the house. I wanted to prove her wrong and so I've been borrowing it, using it the last week. So far, I've made, all from food I had or wasn't too much out of ordinary from what I buy: Orange/Apple smoothie, Orange/Strawberry/Banana smoothie, Carrot/Lemon juice, Green Flaxy (spinach, pineapple, banana, flaxseed, ice). I plan on keeping it and then making juice/smoothies to start and bring them up to her and my dad's house so they drink their daily vegetables and fruits. I have a 25+ year old VitaMix, which still works, but the Blendtec is soooo much easier to use, clean, and store. Once my mom begins tasting how great everything is, I'll be buying my own unit to replace the one I'm borrowing

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well!!! I first saw this at Costco with my mom and she immediately wanted it. I decided to get it for her as an early Xmas present. We have only used this machine to make ice cream and it worked well. The ingredients didn't really go down--stick to the lower part of the blending jar---like Blendtec advertises and once the ice cream piled up at the bottom below the blade it was hard to blend the upper ice and fruit. I hope this issue only happens with the wild side jar. I may get the square jar and decide to use the blender for other things once the holiday hustle has passed. This is a durable product so I'll give it four stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect First review I've ever written.. This blender is amazing. However,.. water will leak out of it.. so you MUST clean it and pour water out.. NEVER let water stand in it (clean it right after using it!). Also, if it is on the base while water is in it, the water will leak down through the base. When this happened to us, I called and they sent me a new base (how was I to know that the thing was not 'water tight'?) just in case the water damaged something in there.. and then they coached me on NOT letting water stand in it.. So, 2000 uses later (averaging 2 cycles per day for almost 3 years), and still with the original cannister (that water ran through) the seal in the cannister goes bad - the noise changed - which warned me. I'm literally eating black rubber in my smoothie,.. Again, I call Blendtec and the are sending me a new cannister.. and again they coached me on maintenance,.. saying that I should manually spin the blade before loading with food, to get the oil flowing.. and also to NOT push down on top of the blender while it's blending - which i had done a few times to stabilize. I might add.. never let water stand in there which no doubt runs through the cannister and out the bottom..and takes some of the 'lube' with it.. Having said all that.. Great customer service, incredibly easy to use and clean.. and if you load it correctly, it works perfectly EVERY time. I could not be happier.. Whether soup or smoothie or ice creamm.. this thing is worth every penny!!! and did I mention that it is the easiest food processor / blender to clean in the world! ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I never though I would spend this much on a blender some the best money I have spent. It works great and is very easy to clean which is a big plus, have had it about 10 days and still learning how to use it. A little noisy but I can live with that , it works fast and does what is supposed to do.

How long should I blend carrots cabbage beets kale snap peas and mustard greens do I need to add water

Asked by: cdot
Add enough water to cover the blade. Blend on the "Whole Juice" cycle. If the ingredients don't blend to desired consistency with one blend, then blend on "Whole Juice" cycle for a second time.

My parents just gave me the classic 570.  I'm wondering if this is a discontinued model because I can't find it on your site.

Asked by: Robyn36
No, it is not a discontinued model. It is sold exclusively through Costco and, therefore, is not on our website (at this time).

I just bought one of these at Costco and now find it discontinued..... plus they are not responding to 3/4 month old questions. What are the chances of future servicing, needed replacement parts, assistance, etc. I am now thinking of returning it.

Asked by: New Customer
The item is discontinued, but we have no plans to stop servicing them and helping with any issues that may arise with this model.
