Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I got mine just a month ago & have used it to make whole juices & smoothies. While it's a lil noisier than expected, I LOVE the power it has. Only one problem; my husband bought whole bean coffee today & forgot to have it ground, but he looked up blendtec & said, "hey, we can do it in the blender!" So we did. The ground coffee came out great, but unfortunately, even after just 5 seconds, it scarred the jar, so now it's cloudy at the bottom. I guess that's to be expected because it's plastic, but I wish there had been a warning. I'm sure it won't affect the performance, I just liked it to look clean, since it sits out on the counter. Still love the blender, though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 years and 500+ uses and still going strong I bought this blender in 2011, and as of 2 weeks ago I hit my 500th cycle, and it still performs like it did when I first got it. I have made many things with it from smoothies to dips and shakes it performs flawlessly and gives restaurant quality each time. I must also add that it has also outlived 3 blenders I had prior to this one. Once you get over the initial sticker shock and use it, you will see it is totally worth what you pay for it. If you're looking for something for the long haul and will perform better then anything out there look no further then Blendtec.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazon, easy to use, love it! My mom bought this about nine months ago and hasn't really used it ever because she says you have to buy food that you usually don't have around the house. I wanted to prove her wrong and so I've been borrowing it, using it the last week. So far, I've made, all from food I had or wasn't too much out of ordinary from what I buy: Orange/Apple smoothie, Orange/Strawberry/Banana smoothie, Carrot/Lemon juice, Green Flaxy (spinach, pineapple, banana, flaxseed, ice). I plan on keeping it and then making juice/smoothies to start and bring them up to her and my dad's house so they drink their daily vegetables and fruits. I have a 25+ year old VitaMix, which still works, but the Blendtec is soooo much easier to use, clean, and store. Once my mom begins tasting how great everything is, I'll be buying my own unit to replace the one I'm borrowing

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect First review I've ever written.. This blender is amazing. However,.. water will leak out of it.. so you MUST clean it and pour water out.. NEVER let water stand in it (clean it right after using it!). Also, if it is on the base while water is in it, the water will leak down through the base. When this happened to us, I called and they sent me a new base (how was I to know that the thing was not 'water tight'?) just in case the water damaged something in there.. and then they coached me on NOT letting water stand in it.. So, 2000 uses later (averaging 2 cycles per day for almost 3 years), and still with the original cannister (that water ran through) the seal in the cannister goes bad - the noise changed - which warned me. I'm literally eating black rubber in my smoothie,.. Again, I call Blendtec and the are sending me a new cannister.. and again they coached me on maintenance,.. saying that I should manually spin the blade before loading with food, to get the oil flowing.. and also to NOT push down on top of the blender while it's blending - which i had done a few times to stabilize. I might add.. never let water stand in there which no doubt runs through the cannister and out the bottom..and takes some of the 'lube' with it.. Having said all that.. Great customer service, incredibly easy to use and clean.. and if you load it correctly, it works perfectly EVERY time. I could not be happier.. Whether soup or smoothie or ice creamm.. this thing is worth every penny!!! and did I mention that it is the easiest food processor / blender to clean in the world! ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I never though I would spend this much on a blender some the best money I have spent. It works great and is very easy to clean which is a big plus, have had it about 10 days and still learning how to use it. A little noisy but I can live with that , it works fast and does what is supposed to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blendtec compared to a Ninja I bought my wife a Ninja Blender a couple of years ago. We thought it did a good job of blending things together to make smoothies. Then we got to sample smoothies made in a Blendtec brand blender and there was no comparison. The Blendtec smoothie was much smoother and easier to drink. There were no small chunks or seeds left in the container. We like the Blendtec product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smoothies, but surprisingly noisy I'm very happy with the quality of smoothies. However, this blender is extremely loud - more noisy than anything I've seen before. Also it leaves stains on a white surface because it has a black base.

Looking at buying a blendtec. Would like to know the difference between the classic and the professional series? I will never mount the professional series to my counter so that part is a waste for me. thank you

Asked by: Erin
Thank you for your question! There are very few differences between the classic and the professional series. Our classic series has a peak horse power of 3.0, with 1560 watts. The professional boasts peak horse power at about 3.7, with 1800 watts. The interface is similar. The Total Classic Blender has a set up with 6 preset cycles that are written on the button, whereas the professional 750 has pictures instead of words. They both have speed up and speed down buttons, as well as a pulse button. There are ten speeds for both the Total Classic and the Professional 750. The Professional is a bit heavier than the Total Classic, so that it can withstand the extra power of the motor, and the option to mount the motor into your counter. If you are looking at the Professional 800, the interface is a touch pad, similar to a smartphone. The Professional 800 has a sound enclosure, to help minimize the sound for a more quiet blending experience. So to summarize, the main difference in the Total Classic vs The Professional 750 is horse power and watts. The Professional 800 offers a sound enclosure. Hope that helps!

Hello I'm delighted with the blendtec blenders but sometimes they overheat and after 3-4 months of use, the blade will go rigid.  I've bought multlple ones and I was wondering what blender you guys would recomend me so that this doesn't happen again.

It may be a good idea to call customer service and make sure all is well with your machine and jar. Blendtec 1-800-253-6383

Very good machine, but so noisy. Are there ways to reduce it ? Some of my neighbours are complaining !

Asked by: Mario001
It may be a good idea to call into customer service and make sure all is well with your machine and jar. If it all checks out well, there are people who find a mouse pad beneficial for helping with the noise. They simply place the machine on top and the pad acts as a noise barrier. my blend tec is leaking our the bottom end of the cutting container. I am disappointed and want some answers. Please advise Gerry

Asked by: Gerry
Hi Gerry, Most likely what happened is that your jar shaft froze and the drive socket is tried to force the shaft to move, thus causing the leaking. Please call 800.748.5400 for assistance on getting a new jar. Be sure you are near your blender when you call. Here are some tips to help prevent this from happening in the future: - Clean your jar immediately after use, don't let food sit in it. - Before each use, turn the blade with your hand from the bottom of the jar by spinning the drive shaft. - If the jar hasn't been used over an extended period of time, you may want to put warm water in it and let it sit for 15 minutes, dump it out and then turn the blade with your hand to ensure it's not stuck.
