Rated 5 out of 5 by debc from Love it! I got mine just a month ago & have used it to make whole juices & smoothies. While it's a lil noisier than expected, I LOVE the power it has. Only one problem; my husband bought whole bean coffee today & forgot to have it ground, but he looked up blendtec & said, "hey, we can do it in the blender!" So we did. The ground coffee came out great, but unfortunately, even after just 5 seconds, it scarred the jar, so now it's cloudy at the bottom. I guess that's to be expected because it's plastic, but I wish there had been a warning. I'm sure it won't affect the performance, I just liked it to look clean, since it sits out on the counter. Still love the blender, though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by jhomrich from 3 years and 500+ uses and still going strong I bought this blender in 2011, and as of 2 weeks ago I hit my 500th cycle, and it still performs like it did when I first got it. I have made many things with it from smoothies to dips and shakes it performs flawlessly and gives restaurant quality each time. I must also add that it has also outlived 3 blenders I had prior to this one. Once you get over the initial sticker shock and use it, you will see it is totally worth what you pay for it. If you're looking for something for the long haul and will perform better then anything out there look no further then Blendtec.

Rated 5 out of 5 by crashpad from Amazon, easy to use, love it! My mom bought this about nine months ago and hasn't really used it ever because she says you have to buy food that you usually don't have around the house. I wanted to prove her wrong and so I've been borrowing it, using it the last week. So far, I've made, all from food I had or wasn't too much out of ordinary from what I buy: Orange/Apple smoothie, Orange/Strawberry/Banana smoothie, Carrot/Lemon juice, Green Flaxy (spinach, pineapple, banana, flaxseed, ice). I plan on keeping it and then making juice/smoothies to start and bring them up to her and my dad's house so they drink their daily vegetables and fruits. I have a 25+ year old VitaMix, which still works, but the Blendtec is soooo much easier to use, clean, and store. Once my mom begins tasting how great everything is, I'll be buying my own unit to replace the one I'm borrowing

Rated 5 out of 5 by David from Great product I never though I would spend this much on a blender some the best money I have spent. It works great and is very easy to clean which is a big plus, have had it about 10 days and still learning how to use it. A little noisy but I can live with that , it works fast and does what is supposed to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Spamone from Almost perfect First review I've ever written.. This blender is amazing. However,.. water will leak out of it.. so you MUST clean it and pour water out.. NEVER let water stand in it (clean it right after using it!). Also, if it is on the base while water is in it, the water will leak down through the base. When this happened to us, I called and they sent me a new base (how was I to know that the thing was not 'water tight'?) just in case the water damaged something in there.. and then they coached me on NOT letting water stand in it.. So, 2000 uses later (averaging 2 cycles per day for almost 3 years), and still with the original cannister (that water ran through) the seal in the cannister goes bad - the noise changed - which warned me. I'm literally eating black rubber in my smoothie,.. Again, I call Blendtec and the are sending me a new cannister.. and again they coached me on maintenance,.. saying that I should manually spin the blade before loading with food, to get the oil flowing.. and also to NOT push down on top of the blender while it's blending - which i had done a few times to stabilize. I might add.. never let water stand in there which no doubt runs through the cannister and out the bottom..and takes some of the 'lube' with it.. Having said all that.. Great customer service, incredibly easy to use and clean.. and if you load it correctly, it works perfectly EVERY time. I could not be happier.. Whether soup or smoothie or ice creamm.. this thing is worth every penny!!! and did I mention that it is the easiest food processor / blender to clean in the world! ?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kabs from Great smoothies, but surprisingly noisy I'm very happy with the quality of smoothies. However, this blender is extremely loud - more noisy than anything I've seen before. Also it leaves stains on a white surface because it has a black base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheJuicer from Amazing power, surprisingly quick I bought this bledtec total blender about a month ago and it works great! This blender is amazingly powerful and can be used to blend household objects as well! Get rid of that pesky son/daughter in 15 seconds flat, and forget about trips to the dump! Used my blendtec to get rid of an old piano lying around! It really added space to the front room and we needed it no longer! Boom! 37 wood chopping seconds later on the whole juice cycle and I had gotten rid of more problems than tiger woods when he divorced his wife! I highly recommend this product to any juice enthusiast or violently homicidal citizen!

How can I avoid scarring my blendtec, avoid damaging it. What types of foods damage the blendtec, such as coffee beans? Thanks
We is a durable, PBA free product for our blending jars. Some items will scratch. Be wise in what you blend versus what you would grind. Coffee beans are very hard and will cause cosmetic damage that is not covered under warranty. We sell a wonderful grain grinder on our website. http://www.blendtec.com/mills-and-mixers/kitchen-mill

I would like to use my blender in a remote area with a solar generator. How much power will I need?
That is a great question. We have not experienced this or tested in this manner. I will say that you need 220 volts for at least 60 seconds. This is a logical guess!

Hello there, Can it make butters from nuts? can it grate lentils to flour?
Yes, you can make nut butters in our jars. The Twister jar gives the best results in the shortest amount of time, about 1 minute. The FourSide and WildSide+ jars will work, but you will have to stop during blending to scrape the sides, and it takes about 3 minutes. You can also grind lentils and other beans into flour. Please note though, that it will scratch up your jar, and our warranty does not cover cosmetic damage.

On the LCD information Center it displays Home 00005 can you tell me what that means
That is the cycle count. It will tell you how many cycles your blender has completed.

Hi. Is it possible to get this blender with 220V power consumption since i live in North of Europe ? (The blender is very expensive in Sweden, approx 800 USD)
Unfortunately, we do not sell those online. We have dealers around the world that sell to their respective country.

BLADE ESSEMBLEY ON MY JAAR CAME LOOSE. HOW CAN I FIX THAT
Please call our customer service team at 1-800-748-5400 and they'll help you out.
Date published: 2014-09-30
I did not register my blendtec and it has been 3 years, but it has started smoking and leaking out the bottom. What do I do?
Please call 800.748.5400, and be sure you are near your blender and jar, so a representative can troubleshoot the issue over the phone. Do not continue to use it until the issue has been resolved. Here are some tips to help prevent this from happening in the future: - Clean your jar immediately after use, don't let food sit in it. - Before each use, turn the blade with your hand from the bottom of the jar by spinning the drive shaft. - If the jar hasn't been used over an extended period of time, you may want to put warm water in it and let it sit for 15 minutes, dump it out and then turn the blade with your hand to ensure it's not stuck.
