LOVE this jar!
I have used this jar multiple times every day since I took it out of the box! I've made the Berry Soft Serve recipe from the recipe booklet every day. I've make Raw Ranch Dressing, Macadamia Cream, Raw Russian Salad Dressing, just to name a few. Our whole family is just in love with this new jar. The spatula is an engineering triumph and it actually gets out every last bit of our expensive organic nut recipes with ease. We are impressed with the removable lid centers and recipe booklet too. All the pieces of this package are well thought out and well worth the price. Bravo, Blendtec, you've put together something worthy of your amazing blender. No cheaping-out on anything. We are customers since 2006.

Must-have for hummus, nut butters, and more...
Wasn't sure how handy this would be, but I'm a big fan of hummus and spreads, so I thought I'd try it. What I didn't realize was that its more petite size fits perfectly under counter when atop my blender, and it's just the right size for a morning smoothie for one. I put in all my fresh greens and fruits with a little ice or water, and get 16 oz of heaven without using the bigger Wildside or Standard jars. LOVE IT! Clean up is simple too. Great product for the money, and dramatically different than any other offering from Blendtec.

Love this Blender!
Lets get the negatives out of the way... I haven't been successful in making ice cream, even when I follow the recipes provided but its not a big deal to me because it works great for all the things I actually bought it for. I had a hard time with thick things in the regular Blendtec blenders, but the twister jar can whip through all those troubles with ease. I have made super thick hummus, awesome guacamole, almond butter, sesame tahini, and baby food. Its my go to blender for the things I make and I love it!

I love the preprogrammed settings!
I received my Blendtec a week ago. I heard wonderful things about it from other reviewers online. It's BETTER than I expected, and easier to make all of the things that I bought it for than I thought it would be because of the preprogrammed settings. For example, I can make a green smoothie in 40 seconds by putting a little water in, filling it with leafy greens just the way I bought them, and tossing in a whole apple, or handful of berries and pushing ONE BUTTON, ONE TIME! It takes 8 seconds of preparation and 32 seconds of blending (where I do nothing but watch it adjust it's own speeds, and get a glass out of the cupboard). It takes me 20 seconds to clean up by rinsing the jar and lid with water and setting them upside down to air dry. It's so cool!!

Functions great but...
I appreciate the size and multifaceted functionality of the twister jar. I am however, disappointed with the fact that it stained the second time I used it. For the jar to stain indicates a level of porosity that is of concern. No matter what I have tried the stain does not come out (even after 20 additional uses with food item not containing any yellow). All foods have also been organic so no chemicals or artificial ingredients.

Works Perfectly!
It isn't often you follow the instructions and get results like you saw in the video. But with this I followed the instructions exactly, simply pressing a few buttons and twisting the lid as I blended, and the nut butter was perfect. The other day I had apples but no peanut butter. But I found a jar of cashews and 2 minutes later I was eating apples with cashew butter.

This blender jar has a brilliant design that really works for thick emulsions like nut butters. I have been using blendtec for 20 years and it's one of the companies that has continued to improve the quality of their already exceptional products over time. Highly recommend.

Love it! Perfect for single serve drinks!
I am so happy I got this! The mini that came with my blender is ok for small jobs. But the reg size is better because it also has a reg gripper lid so you can make single serve drinks. I also like to make almond butter. So far I'm thrilled with the versatility of this and clean up is a snap.
