Super Smooth Blends
I bought this to make homemade formula for my child with a g-tube. I needed a blender that could make very smooth blends from seeds, meat, fruits and veggies so that it flows through our feeding pump without clogging. This blender is doing the job. I've used it to make 12 batches so far. It leaves behind less waste when I run it through the food mill after blending and I only have to run it through the food mill once instead of twice like my blends made in my old blender.
It did take some time to get used to operating the touchscreen but I am getting the hang of it.

Additional containers
I've had it for a month and am in love. 1st and formost it has a big container, 2nd the extra containers are the best especially the smallest one, it lets me prepare on the fly recipes like salsas, a quick garli mash, its just fantastic... I do have a Vitimix and it is very good as well but no extra jars. Expecially a small one to do all the small things. The only thing with the Blendtec that I have aproblem with are the lids. For the small one if I do any grinding like oatmeal into powder the powder seeps out from the lid, no biggie bit gets a lil messy. Other than that I've experienced only good things. ANd I'm in love....Love my Vitamix but Blendtec for me works divine....

LOVE MY BLENDTEC - and it loves me too!!!
This is my very first Blendtec blender though a bit pricey and has hurt my budget ....I have to admit I love it and can't live without it. It blends wonderfully and really isn't as loud blending as I expected it to be from reading previous reviews about how noisy it is. It gets the job done quickly, efficiently, it is versatile, and even displays cute little messages to boost my blending ego. Oh, and best thing is I have already earned enough points to earn my first free reward for just doing what I love anyways BLENDING.....thank you BLENDTEC I love my blender!!!

best blender ever!
We bought this about a month ago and have used it so much already. We have enjoyed the way Blendtec blends the drinks and how versatile it is. We have been able to use it as a food processor as well! We enjoy all the codes we get after making so many blends and the free stuff we have received (shipping was free too!). Also great customer service! We had an issue getting the codes to work and we had a representative work for a few days to get it to work and was super helpful and made sure to let us know he was continuing to work on it for us. Overall our experience has been OUTSTANDING!!!

Excellent
I purchased this blender 2 weeks ago, and have been using it 3x/day. Wow, simply amazing results with anything you blend. I've had smoothies, whole food juices, sorbet, soup, salsa, and the list goes on. Very easy to operate and easier to clean. Worth every penny. I don't find it noisy at all, just as any blender when in use. My neighbor couldn't hear it , through the thin walls between us. I love it!

Not that impressed
First time I wanted to use the 725 blender to blend a soup I got an error code 4 and was not able to use the blender. Before calling the next day I tried the blender and it seemed to work. a month later I made a frozen drink with frozen peaches from our garden and had to break up the peaches to get them to blend. I did a second batch and the blender stopped because of the over heat protection. I would have expected to be able to make two batches of frozen smoothies without over heating.

Great Performance
We love the blender. Very easy to use and very effective. The only issue I have is the lid. The lid seems to work well for the most part. It doesn't seal. It also feels a little flimsy. I tried the self cleaning and didnt do it right but regardless I put too much water in it 3/4 full, started it and then took my hand off. The thing exploded. It was impressive to see.
The only improvements would be to allow the lid to seal, make lid firmer and airtight.

Not perfect but enjoying it
Lids do not seal completely and the center part of the lid more for stopping splashes from going into the room. Containers are useful for making things less than the half the size of the container, so you don't blend drinks for more than two people at a time. Otherwise, all the great things people have said about this blender are true. My wife is losing her sense of humor about the encouraging messages that come up after blending when what she was running was the wash cycle. "I should tweet THAT recipe?!" She is VERY satisfied with how well this blender handles the THICK frozen smoothies she makes. Sometimes she has to start them with the frozen treat setting and then run them with the smoothie program. Flat touch screen makes base oh so easy to clean.
