Instructions
FourSide or WildSide+ Jar
- Add peanuts and salt to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Blend on Low speed for 15 seconds, then increase speed to High and blend until 50 seconds.
- Using a spatula or Spoonula, move peanuts towards center of jar, add oil and secure lid. Blend on medium to medium-low speed for 50 seconds, then blend on medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds.
Note: You can also make peanut butter without the added oil. Instead of adding the oil after the second cycle, simply blend the peanut butter for an additional 50 seconds on Low speed. Then, continue blending for two additional cycles as directed above.
Twister Jar
- Reduce ingredients by ½.
- Add peanuts and salt to Twister Jar. Blend on a medium to medium-high speed for 50 seconds or until desired texture is reached. Turn lid counterclockwise while blending.
It is for the regular Twister jar. The lids for the Mini Twister and Twister are different sizes (the tines on the Mini are shorter).
Can dry roasted, salted peanuts be used?
Thank you!!! I’ll save these instructions because I definitely want to try nut butters. I appreciate your diligence in addressing this for me.
I have used salted, unsalted and honey roasted! All worked out great in the twister jar.
I tried adding honey to the peanuts before blending and it changed the texture. I will try mixing honey in after I make the peanut butter in the future. I think the liquid honey created a binder and emulsified the peanut butter so the creamy and oily texture was not achieved.
Either way the end product is delicious!
I use the designer 725 on the dip setting with the twister jar.
Absolutely!
