Peach Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 medium fresh peach halved & pitted
  • 2 drops almond extract
  • 16 oz. frozen peach slices approximately 3 cups
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Add first 4 ingredients to jar and secure lid. Press "Pulse" 6–8 times to blend fresh peach.
  2. Add frozen peaches and secure lid. Select "Frozen Yogurt" (or blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 30 seconds) and serve.

    YUM! Made this with some farm-stand peaches, and it was delicious. No vanilla yogurt, just plain nonfat + the 1/4 c. honey. So I used that and added approximately 1/4 tsp vanilla extract w a pinch of salt in place of the almond extract. Great flavor and consistency right out of the jar. Made probably 2 cups, or 4 servings (according to the recipe). I froze the rest and it was great straight from the freezer too.
