Thanks everyone! Like selser, I was shocked at the cost for something I would likely use infrequently. Maybe I’ll change my mind and maybe they’ll wise up and significantly drop (i.e., by a good 50%) the price on the Twister — as Blendtec can see from this forum, more than 49 people out of a total 60 pieces of feedback agree w/ this.
Selser, that said, as Catherine noted, the Blendtec is a super product and I too recommend keeping it. As far as I figured out there are only 2 really good blenders available to consumers: Blendtec and VitaMix; if expense is a concern, then I would stay away from VitaMix because it makes the Blendtec seem very inexpensive and it seems to be rather outdated! We’ve been quite satisfied w/ the Blendtec.
On Facebook, they suggested doubling the recipe for the Four Side Jar and either tripling for the WIld Side.
stay in on the email and Facebook lists because sometimes they have things that go on sale. I purchased a Wildside jar around Christmas time and it was on super sale.
I have a Blendtec, got it 8 months ago, mine came with 2 jars, Was a special on Costco. This is the best blender you can ever have, we use all the time, I do my almond milk, smothies, sauces. And I got the twister on Mother’s Day my best gift!!! I do protein bars for my kids lunch, nut butters and when we need small quantities. I love my Blendtec because my family eats better and healthier food!!!

It would be nice to have the instructions for real thick allioli, that is with olive oil and garlic and no yogurt, nor dill
