  • Could you sub honey for the agave nectar?

    Becky on

  • Yes; you will need to add the coconut oil, semisweet chocolate, agave nectar, salt, and cocoa powder to microwave-safe bowl, and microwave for 20–30 seconds. Allow to cool to room temperature.

    Blendtec on

  • This was a bit too sweet for me. But my family loved it so I will make it again with half the agave or even less.

    Holly on

  • You can – you’ll probably want to double the recipe, and you will need to scrape the sides. It will probably take longer than it would in the Twister jar, but you can definitely make it.

    Blendtec on

  • Can you use the regular 4 sided jar for this recipe as well?

    Sheetal on

  • Hi Erin,
Yes you can use raw honey in place of agave that is in any recipe.

    Blendtec on

  • Can I use raw honey instead of agave nectar? because Agave nectar is bad for you

  • What is speed 1? MY Blentec has Smoothie, lo, med, or high.

    Ss on

  • Use "Lo" :)

    Blendtec on

  • Do you have a Designer series blender? You should have a speed slider below the blend cycle icons. Use a low speed.

  • Can we substitute coconut oil with canola oil or other oils?

    mrunal on

  • Yes, you can but it’ll be a bit more work. You’ll want to double the recipe and you’ll need to stop and scrape the sides down several times.

    Blendtec on

  • I have model 625. If I want to make sauces could I use the soup button

    Linda on

  • You can, but only use 1 tsp of the other oil. The coconut oil helps to harden up the mousse and gives it a nice taste so we recommend using that, if possible.

    Blendtec on

  • can you use coconut palm sugar instead of agave nectar?

    Julia on

  • If you don’t have a sauce button, blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds. Happy blending!

  • What speed and how long to whip cream on Total Blender? I just have icons for mix, soup, drinks, etc and pulse and +, -. Thanks

    Bootsie on

  • The + will increase your speed. So you’ll only need to press it once for speed 1. Happy blending!

    Blendtec on

  • Did you ever figure this out. Just got a Total Blender and only smoothie, soup. ice cream, juice, pulse, etc. And a + and -
