Tofu is a great alternative to yogurt because it’s high in protein and produces a nice, creamy texture much like yogurt. The measurements of yogurt vs tofu are shown below.
    a. Greek Yogurt ¼ cup = 5.73 grams protein
    b. Regular Yogurt ¼ cup = 3.5 grams protein
    c. Tofu block 2.5 ounces = 5.78 grams protein

I cannot tolerate dairy. So many recipes call for yogurt. What can I substitute for the yogurt to get the same protein balance? Tofu? If so, what amount equals the normal quarter cup requirement?
    Thanks
