Tomato Basil Soup

I don’t think you could make a lunch much faster than this soup. Seriously, I think it would take longer to make a sandwich or a bowl of cereal. Add, thanks to Blendtec’s soup option, it just got even faster. I usually make smoothies with my Blendtec, but then I discovered that fancy little button at the end of the row. Did you know it even heats the soup? Crazy, I know!
Creamy Tomato Basil Soup
How do you make this yummy creamy soup you ask? Well, you will need… 1 ripe avocado 5-6 medium-sized ripe tomatoes 3 cloves of garlic 5-8 fresh basil leaves 1 cup water Salt and pepper to taste Place all the ingredients listed above into your Blendtec blender. Select the Soup option, and blend baby, blend! Next, pour the soup into a bowl, and then devour. Beat that [input fast food chain here]!
Tips: Set aside one or two tomatoes. When the blender is done running through the soup option, add in the last tomatoes. Pulse a couple times for a chunkier soup. If you have the time, you can cook the soup down a bit more on your stove top. This will really help bring out the tomato flavor. Happy Eating!
