Caramel Sauce

1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups medjool dates, pitted, halved and soaked in 1½ cups water plus 2 Tbsp lemon juice for 1-2 hours (reserve water after soaking)
3 Tbsp of reserved soaking water, depending on desired dip consistency
Pinch of salt, optional

Add ingredients to the Basic or WildSide pitcher in the order listed above and secure lid. Press “Dips” and serve with your favorite apple slices.
