3 Smoothie Recipes Made With Your Protein Shake

Protein shakes are an easy and quick way to get a lot of protein in at once. Sometimes, though, the chocolate and vanilla flavors can get a little boring. We teamed up with Premier Protein to create these delicious, high-protein smoothie recipes that incorporate your protein shake! They are great for a post-workout recovery drink or a meal replacement.

Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 5.5 fl oz Chocolate Premier Protein Shake*
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Add ingredients to Blendtec jar in the order listed and blend on “Smoothie” cycle. Pour and enjoy!

 

Cinnamon Bun Protein Smoothie

Cinnamon Bun Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 5.5 fl oz Vanilla Premier Protein Shake*
  • 1/4 banana
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 ¼ cup ice cubes

Add ingredients to Blendtec jar in the order listed and blend on “Smoothie” cycle. Pour and enjoy!

 

Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 5.5 fl oz Vanilla Premier Protein Shake*
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Add ingredients to Blendtec jar in the order listed and blend on “Smoothie” cycle. Pour and enjoy!

 

*You can use any chocolate or vanilla flavored protein shakes in place of Premier Protein.
