iFixit—Blendtec Total Blender Teardown

Warning: Do not attempt the following; doing so will void all warranties.

Recently the nice folks over at iFixit did a teardown of the Total Blender. That’s right, they completely dismantled a perfectly good Blendtec Total Blender. I definitely wouldn’t recommend trying this at home, but its fun to see nonetheless.
From their site:

Step 1—Teardown
Our friends at Blendtec were awesome enough to lend us a blender for this teardown!
$400 gets you:
Their awesome “base” 1560 W Total Blender (as if you can call anything with 1560 Watts “base”)
Instruction manual
CD-ROM with product tour and video recipes
Lifestyles Recipe Book, good for many blenderiffic creations
