In the mood to try something new? Here’s a great soup with a Mexican flair.

3 Roma tomatoes, halved
½ large carrot, peeled
¼ ripe avocado, peeled
2 ½” x ½” cubes of jalapeño jack cheese or sharp cheddar, optional
2 layers of quartered onion, approx. 2 tbsp
4 sprigs of cilantro
2 tbsp taco seasoning
½ tsp garlic salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 c hot water

Optional add-ins: Tortilla chips, black beans, corn and/or chicken

Add all ingredients except for optional add-ins to the WildSide or Basic jar in the order listed above and secure lid. Press “Soups.”

Add desired optional ingredients. Press “Pulse” 3–5 times to blend in chips, beans, corn and/or chicken to create a chunky soup.

I use almost all of my leftover chicken parts to make a Chicken Puree that I use to liven up the food for my dogs. I pulse most of the bones, all of the fat and skin and internal organs for this mix – all cooked of course. soft and small bones puree very well.I will try the larger bones next time.
