Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another breed of blender Wow. This is more than just a blender. I do a raw/frozen fruit/veg smoothie every day and this blender is nothing less than impressive. Everything is blended consistently in only one or two cycles or less than 5 min. Even chia and flax seeds are not visible in the final product. IMPROVE YOUR NUTRTION AND YOUR HEALTH with a Blendtec blender. I'm able to eat things I wouldn't dream of before if it is blended in a smoothie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing power, surprisingly quick I bought this bledtec total blender about a month ago and it works great! This blender is amazingly powerful and can be used to blend household objects as well! Get rid of that pesky son/daughter in 15 seconds flat, and forget about trips to the dump! Used my blendtec to get rid of an old piano lying around! It really added space to the front room and we needed it no longer! Boom! 37 wood chopping seconds later on the whole juice cycle and I had gotten rid of more problems than tiger woods when he divorced his wife! I highly recommend this product to any juice enthusiast or violently homicidal citizen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blendtec compared to a Ninja I bought my wife a Ninja Blender a couple of years ago. We thought it did a good job of blending things together to make smoothies. Then we got to sample smoothies made in a Blendtec brand blender and there was no comparison. The Blendtec smoothie was much smoother and easier to drink. There were no small chunks or seeds left in the container. We like the Blendtec product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from powerful machine! I bought mine less than a month ago. Came rather later. But when I started using it, I forgot about that inconvenience... It's a powerful machine. Very noisy though... To be honest I am glad I haven't spend more money on a more powerful one. Because there is enough power there... Just the base can get a little slippery sometime, when it deals with strong root vegetables/plants.So I hold the glass or the top to stabilize it. Other than that it works just fine. I think in the future Blendtec should try to make the base more stable/heavier or something to avoid this type of Problems. Overall happy to have bought one! I used it daily for smoothies and soups, and all sorts of vegan yummy Gourmet things. So far, it works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, easy to use! I've been using mine for a year. We love the whole juice setting to make fruit and veggie blends. It's great to be able to get all of the nutrients and the fiber in the fruits and veggies. It was worth the price. It is a bit noisy, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST blender Ever! This blender is all I needed : fits on my counter, has a big jar, easy to clean, easy to use, compact, the food doesn't get stuck in it, makes every smoothie or sauce or whatever you want very easily. The only thing you need to do is keep your hand on the lid for the first few seconds, then you can let it go. Remember, its not a bread maker, its not a juicer, all people that couldn't knead dough-buy a bread maker! This is the "bestest" of all blenders and it does a wonderful job.

We have had our Blendtec for about 5 years. I blend a vitamin supplement in it, with milk, and a product that is called Coco Pure, along with ice cubes. We are getting a film on the glass. We can't get rid of it. Need help.

Asked by: Jim Gerling
The film you are seeing is more of a cloudiness that happens after years of consistent blending. It is not something that can be removed, nor is it harmful in anyway, it is just a cosmetic issue.

Does this classic blender also mix (for example: cheesecake mix)? Also, is this the same as the Macys "Blendtec 575 Classic Blender " ? thanks

Asked by: Lucy25
This model is not available for sale. It has similar features to the Classic 575, but it is not the same blender. I personally have never tried using it for a cheesecake mix, but we have made cheesecake from scratch in before. Just wondering if the blender will handle hard items like nutmeg and cinnamon sticks - I'm thinking of using to make curry pastes from scratch. Also, is it possible to make a soup without having to cook any of the ingredients beforehand - raw veg + broth.

Asked by: Astrochicken1980
First the blending of hard items. Yes it will handle it very well. You need to add enough that it will move about around the blade so it can blend. I believe you can make a broth with raw vegis. It would take some experimenting. Worth trying and let us know your results. Remember that the blender will heat up by friction. There is not a heating element involved.

Excuse me, how to make peanut butter, should according to the health

Asked by: jessica wang
Peanut Butter is best made in the Twister Jar. If you have a FourSide or WildSide it will blend but will need to be made in a large quantity so the blades are covered. You may need to add a little oil for smooth blending. You may need to push down the side's to the middle some.

up to how many kilo or pound could we blend fruits in each time

Asked by: toraj124
For the WildSide Jar you can blend up to the top line. 36 ounces. You will probably need to add a little water so it will blend in a circle and break down.

How well does the blender puree meat for baby food? Is it possible to get smaller portions completely smooth?

Asked by: MissusBurnham
Yes, if the meat is fully cooked. You would want to use the Twister Jar for best results. If you are using a FourSide or a WildSide Jar you would have to have enough meat to cover the blade and would need to add water. With the Twister Jar you can twist the lid bringing all of the meat product to the middle over and over. This will blend it very nice. You may have to add some water to the Twister Jar also.

Looking at buying a blendtec. Would like to know the difference between the classic and the professional series? I will never mount the professional series to my counter so that part is a waste for me. thank you

Asked by: Erin
Thank you for your question! There are very few differences between the classic and the professional series. Our classic series has a peak horse power of 3.0, with 1560 watts. The professional boasts peak horse power at about 3.7, with 1800 watts. The interface is similar. The Total Classic Blender has a set up with 6 preset cycles that are written on the button, whereas the professional 750 has pictures instead of words. They both have speed up and speed down buttons, as well as a pulse button. There are ten speeds for both the Total Classic and the Professional 750. The Professional is a bit heavier than the Total Classic, so that it can withstand the extra power of the motor, and the option to mount the motor into your counter. If you are looking at the Professional 800, the interface is a touch pad, similar to a smartphone. The Professional 800 has a sound enclosure, to help minimize the sound for a more quiet blending experience. So to summarize, the main difference in the Total Classic vs The Professional 750 is horse power and watts. The Professional 800 offers a sound enclosure. Hope that helps!

Asked by: Mario001
It may be a good idea to call into customer service and make sure all is well with your machine and jar. If it all checks out well, there are people who find a mouse pad beneficial for helping with the noise. They simply place the machine on top and the pad acts as a noise barrier. my blend tec is leaking our the bottom end of the cutting container. I am disappointed and want some answers. Please advise Gerry

Asked by: Gerry
Hi Gerry, Most likely what happened is that your jar shaft froze and the drive socket is tried to force the shaft to move, thus causing the leaking. Please call 800.748.5400 for assistance on getting a new jar. Be sure you are near your blender when you call. Here are some tips to help prevent this from happening in the future: - Clean your jar immediately after use, don't let food sit in it. - Before each use, turn the blade with your hand from the bottom of the jar by spinning the drive shaft. - If the jar hasn't been used over an extended period of time, you may want to put warm water in it and let it sit for 15 minutes, dump it out and then turn the blade with your hand to ensure it's not stuck.
